Spicy Baked Shrimp Recipe

Whether you’re searching for the perfect meal or simply want a delicious snack, this spicy baked shrimp recipe is guaranteed to delight. Perhaps the only thing greater than its flavor is its simplicity.

Ingredient List

● 2 Pounds of Uncooked Medium Shrimp. Peeled and Deveined.

● 1 Tbsp. of your favorite seafood seasoning (Seafood Magic by Chef Paul Prudhomme is my personal favorite).

● 3 Garlic Cloves (minced)

●  2 Tbsp. of Onion (chopped)

● ¼ Tsp. Thyme (dried)

● 2 Tbsp. of Onion (chopped)

● 1 ½ Tsp. Chili Powder

● 2 Tbsp. of your favorite spicy mustard (Sir Kensington’s Mustard is my personal favorite)

● ¼ Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes (crushed)

● ¼ Tsp. Basil (dried)

● ¾ Lb. of butter

● 5 Slices of Bacon

Spicy Baked Shrimp Ingredients
Cooking Directions | A Step-by-Step Guide

Step One | Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

Step Two | In a large skillet, cook the bacon until it’s evenly crisp - generally 10 minutes over medium-high heat.

Step Three | Once the bacon is fully cooked, transfer it to a paper-lined plate to help remove excess grease. After the bacon is safe to handle, dice into small pieces.

Step Four | In the skillet, melt the butter over medium heat in the leftover bacon grease.

Step Five | Once the butter is melted, add the following into the skillet:

● Bacon

● Spicy Mustard

● Red Pepper Flakes

● Garlic

● Chili Powder

● Thyme

● Basil

● Onion

Step Six | Simmer the ingredients over medium heat until the onion is tender - generally five minutes.

Step Seven | Carefully pour the wine and seafood seasoning into the skillet. Stir until the seasoning is evenly distributed.

Step Eight | Add the shrimp to the mixture and gently stir until the shrimp is thoroughly coated.

Step Nine | Add the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish. TIP: Rub the dish with a stick of butter for an even more decadent flavor.

Step Ten | Place the dish into the oven and bake for roughly 20 minutes. You’ll know the shrimp are done when they turn bright pink and the meat is no longer transparent.
